Equi-Chaps Close Contact Chaps – Navy

These handy boots from Equi-Chaps are a second-skin boot, deisgned to keep your horse’s legs dry and mud free to prevent mud fever. They are made from a breathable Stormatex material which prevent overheating and sweating, as well as having a PU coating that makes them water resistant. Their secure four-strap design protects the whole lower leg, and they can be worn for up to 12 hours, making them ideal for horses who are turned out all day long! These chaps are easy to wash and quick to dry, and a tip from us is that when you’ve removed the chaps, hose them and then hang to dry. Ensure they are fully dry before they are put back on the horse. If your horse already has mud fever, make sure the condition is completely cleared before using the chaps or any other boot.
